GFM
GFM fire resistant mortar is a fibre-free, pre-mixed dry mortar of mortar group IIIa or M20.
Use: GFM fire resistant mortar is suitable as a sealing material for pipe penetration seals. This product is a dimensionally stable, non-combustible building material.
Areas of application
GFM fire resistant mortar from Flamro is suitable for universal use in solid floors and solid walls. This includes areas such as:
- Wall and floor ducts for insulated, metal pipes
- Fire and smoke-proof sealing of individual lines according to (M)LAR (German guidelines on pipe installations)
- Annular gap seal for CT Cable Tube

Processing information
Surfaces must be solid, free of adhesion-reducing substances and dust. Absorbent surfaces should be pre-wet with water. The consistency of the mortar must be adapted to fill all necessary building elements without cavities.
Consumption
4 – 5 l water + 25 kg dry mortar ≈ 15–18 l ready-to-process wet mortar ≈ 15–18 l volume after curing

Shelf life
When stored in a dry place for at least 12 months from the date of manufacture, low in chromate in accordance with Regulation 1907/2006, GISCODE ZP1.
, Provided the product is stored properly and retains its powdery consistency, it can continue to be processed even after the guaranteed low-chromate period has expired. After the guaranteed low-chromate period has expired, processing is permitted exclusively in closed systems or in compliance with applicable local regulations regarding occupational health and safety and safe use.
