Mixed penetration sealing systems

System Flammotect 1 x 60 mm

Mixed penetration seal made of a layer of mineral fibre boards (1 x 60 mm) with ablative fire protection coating for pipes, cables, and cable bundles. In case of fire, the system remains fire-resistant for 90 minutes.

Areas of application

Sealing of lines, cable penetrations, and pipes in:

  • Plasterboard walls
  • Solid walls
  • Solid floors
  • Timber construction (CLT walls and CLT floors)
  • Sandwich panel walls

  • Minimal dry film thickness on seal surfaces as well as on installed cables, cable bundles, and cable trays
  • Only short lengthwise coating of lines is necessary
  • Easy sealing of standard and non-standard combustible pipelines in the mixed penetration seal with wrap or collar

Installation video: System Flammotect

The Flammotect system consists of a 60 mm or 80 mm thick mineral fibre board (single layer) or two 50 mm or two 60 mm thick boards (double layer) and is equipped with an ablative fire protection coating. It offers a wide range of applications for a wide variety of media lines with a broad spectrum of diameters and insulation types. The Flammotect system fulfils the requirements of fire resistance class up to EI 120 in accordance with EN 13501-2.
