FLAMRO® Joint Cord
The fire-resistant joint rope is designed for the professional sealing of horizontal and vertical linear joints between solid, fire-resistant walls and ceilings. It is suitable for joints with or without shear stress and can be used in both linear butt joints and stepped joints. Thanks to its non-combustible material, the joint rope meets the fire performance requirements of DIN EN 13501-1, Class A1, and thus contributes to the safe maintenance of the fire resistance of room-enclosing components. The permissible joint width is up to 55 mm, covering a wide range of applications in both new and existing buildings.
Use: Sealing horizontal and vertical joints in building components to make them fire-resistant.

- Solid walls and ceilings with a component thickness of ≥ 150 mm
- Movement joints between components subject to similar loads and deformation
- Joints between components subject to shear loads, designed as stepped joints (multi-step joints) or linear butt joints (single-step joints)
