With its products NBR-plus (for non-combustible pipes with combustible FEF insulation) and KSL-W (for combustible sound-isolated waste water pipes), Flamro offers two proven fire protection wraps for securely sealing pipe penetrations in solid building elements, plasterboard walls and timber constructions with a variety of pipe types as well as 26 different insulation types and installation situations.
Both products consist of an intumescent material that expands in a controlled manner when exposed to intense heat and thus reliably seals openings in the wall or floor. The thermally expanding foam prevents fire, smoke and heat from spreading to adjacent fire compartments.
