The Firebreather® Façade Vent provides controlled ventilation and fire resistance in fire-rated walls and façades. It resolves the common conflict where ventilation is desired or required, yet openable windows or other unprotected openings would compromise the wall’s fire rating. Typical applications include buildings with external access balconies used as escape routes, which require fire-resisting construction without openings through which fire could spread. Our Firebreather technology blocks the passage of flames, heat and embers with immediate effect in the event of a fire.
